A Wedding Pro's Guide to an Instagram That Books
Pretty grids don't book weddings. Couples inquire when they see proof you can handle their day, personality they'd enjoy around, and an obvious next step. Here's the weekly mix we run for clients.
The 3-2-1 weekly mix
Three proof posts (real weddings, transformations, testimonials), two personality posts (you at work, opinions, behind-the-scenes), one direct invitation (availability, offer, "two 2027 dates left"). Proof builds trust, personality builds preference, invitations capture demand.
Captions are sales pages in miniature
Hook in line one, story in the middle, one clear call to action at the end — comment, DM a word, or tap the booking link. Hashtags matter less than keywords: put "Austin wedding planner" style phrases in your name field, bio, and captions so search finds you.
Every post needs one job: start a conversation that ends in the inbox.
Stories do the daily selling
Polls, countdowns, Q&A boxes, and reposted client tags keep you top-of-feed between grid posts. Save the best as highlights: Investment, Process, Reviews, FAQs. A couple should be able to research you fully without leaving your profile.
Measure inquiries, not likes
Track profile taps, link clicks, and DM starts per post type each month. Double down on whatever drives conversations — usually carousel transformations and honest pricing talk, not the prettiest single image.
Run this mix for ninety days and Instagram shifts from obligation to pipeline. Or hand us the whole rhythm — planning, captions, scheduling, and engagement — and just approve once a month.
Your feed, handled monthly
A wedding-industry manager plans, writes, and schedules everything — you approve in one review link and get back to the work you love.
